UK airlines will still be able to operate flights between the UK and the EU without any changes until at least October 2020, it has been confirmed.
Under an earlier deal, the EU and the UK agreed flights between the two would be allowed to continue unchanged until March next year.
But as the UK parliament struggles to reach an exit agreement with the EU, the Commission has agreed to extend the deadline.
This means that flights will be unaffected, at least until next October, regardless of whether the UK leaves the EU with or without a deal, on October 31 this year or at some time in the future.
So if you’re planning an Easter break in the EU or a summer holiday in the Med next year, you shouldn’t have any worries about booking your flights.
